RETIREMENT FUND

Me and my sister did a claim for my late mother's retirement fund which paid out on the 12th of April after I first had to lay a complain because we almost waited 2/half months for the money but my problem is that when we did the claim at the brunch the lady told us the amount is R33000 when old mutual phoned us on the 9th of April to confirm outstanding details of my mother they told my sister that the amount is R22000 then I got a call from one of the ladies to confirm my banking details because the money had to be split she then told me the amount is R34000 when we finally recieved our Money it was R24000 this just doesn't make sense why was there so many tax deducted from the money and it wasn't even alot of money please we want feed back regarding this matter because this just doesn't make sense really
