Retirement annuity

I joined old mutual last on the 30/09/2014 I took retirement annuity with them I did telephonic conversation with the consultant. I asked him that if i want to cancel my policy before my retirement period whats going to happen to the money i have been paying. he said to me Old Mutual is going to pay each cent that i have been paying. My bank was debited R250.00 monthly, so on the 17/07/2015 i got my investment statement with an investment value of R2498.97,the end of july and August my bank account was debited. i called Old mutual before the end of August to cancel my policy I sopke to Ziyaad Bhayat he send me a form to fill after 1 week i called to make a follow up on my policy i was told that i was given the wrong form.i called n talked to Theresa Payne she gave the surrender form to fill. i called again on 1st of september to make a follow up, she said she has send my request. on the 15/09/2015 i got a payment of R1949.35 bt according to my information i had close to R3000.00 in my investment. i called Old mutual today i was told that if u cancel your policy before it can mature there are charges. so Old mutual is charing more than R1000 TO CANCEL MY POLICY. I HAVE BEEN CHEATED
