Refund on cancelled policy

Had a green light cover with old mutual which I cancelled in Jun 2019. I was told that they gonna take 3 months installment from my bank account. The refund was due in October 2019. Received an sms that a payment is due to me that I need to go to the branch. Instead of them refunding that money into my bank account which they were taking the installments from all along. They gave me their old mutual card which they said the money will take 3 working days to get into that old mutual account.
