Protektor fund - incorrect info given AND lack of urgency in paying court order.

On 12 August a maintenance court order were issued for arrears maintenance as well as future maintenance. They received the court order on 30 August. I have been phoning for updates and / or outstanding requirements on a weekly basis. On 14 September they only needed information via e-mail from their client (against whom the order was made). The consultant Beauton confirmed this is the only outstanding requirement. They received the info back on the same date and I confirmed this on 21 September. I spoke to Rozanne on same date and she said the claim is with Legal to finalise. No notes were on the system regarding outstanding documents. On 28 September at 3pm I phoned again and spoke to Craig. He confirmed that Legal department had closed the file and it has been sent to Finance. He explained to me that Finance will dis-invest the funds, it takes between 3 to 5 working days. The tax directive will take 24 hours and I should have payment in the following week. He also confirmed that I will receive an sms to notify me once the transfer has been made. Upon calling again on 4 October I was told by Janine that Legal wants a new court order, something is wrong with the court order's wording. I have left my contact details with every consultant since the beginning of September, e-mail address as well. I was promised payment and now they need a new court order???? The person against whom the order is made, lives in Newcastle, Natal and myself in Johannesburg. I have lost interest I would have earned on the delay in payment of this maintenance monies. The court order clearly stated the payment needs to be made by 3 September. Their client (against whom order was made) even sent an affadavit giving consent to the fund to pay the funds to me as per the court order.

Not on ONE occasion has anyone of Old Mutual notified me of any outstanding documents before 4 October.. I had to phone back for updates every week. And they have no lack of urgency, took more than a month to tell me they need a new court order. In the meantime my child has to just wait for maintenance to take care of his basic needs...

I was once again promised today by Gesandt (the manager at Protektor Call Centre) that he would personally phone me back and see what he can do for me. I was also promised an e-mail.
