POPI disregard - tells everyone your private business

I have a loan with this company. I have NEVER skipped a payment, yet they have the habit of calling my company that I work at, speaking to random people,NOT ASKING FOR HR, asking for payment date of salaries, referencing my name as the employee in question. POPI ACT - Are you allowed to tell everyone where I work that I have an account with you? This is truly disgusting and the fact that you are embarrassing me at my workplace says a lot for your integrity as a company.
