Poor Service Link Market Service call centre.

Poor service from Old Mutual and their call service operator Link Market Service.

I am very angry and disappointed in Old Mutual for their response to a claim in which I am trying to help another old pensioner claim her unclaimed dividends.

After a visit to Old Mutual offices on Friday 2nd August, 35km away in Brits, from where they phoned Link Market Services a call centre for Old Mutual. There the call centre operator was unhelpful and arrogant but promised to forward the necessary documents to me……….I received nothing. (The call was taped….please check!)

On Monday the 5th I phoned twice. The first operator said no supervisor was available as they were in a meeting. The second Link Market Service operator put me on hold listening to classical music (Beethoven’s 5th) until the phone eventually went dead.

I then phoned a number I got off the internet *** and spent R50.00 in airtime trying to get someone to help me. I was finally promised that Taryn who would phone back.

On Wednesday after more calls I got hold of Taryn and although she was not from the correct department, she said she would get back to me. (Friday was a public holiday).

Another R29.00 in Voda airtime and two more phone calls today the 12th and I am still hoping that someone in Old Mutual will finally try and help me, to help this pensioner, claim her money.

So tired of “in a meeting” ….... “will give her the message” and listening to Beethoven’s 5th on the waiting line …..I can already play part of his symphony on my keyboard.
