Poor Communication, Poor Customer Care

I received the following e-mail from Old Mutual, on 17 May '16:

"Good day

Kindly advise if the current value on Old Mutual Superfund Pension Fund (Nedbank Limited Pension Fund) should also be ported to Superfund Preserver as the bulk of your funds were ported."

As I was under the impression my entire pension fund value was automatically transfered to the preserver fund, I wasn't sure exactly what this question meant. As you can understand I am very careful to make any decisions pertaining to my life savings.

Upon phoning the customer care helpline for clarification I was told that the e-mail does not reflect on the system yet, but that everything was transfered and the mail was indeed NOT a question. I requested to speak to someone more knowledgable, only to be put back in line and to go through the process of getting through to a different consultant. This time my line was apparently bad and she couldn't hear me (despite being heard just fine by the previous gentleman). I hung up the phone and decided to reply to the e-mail, asking for clarification. I have not received any answer as yet.

Please advise.
