Policy cancellation issues

Pretty awful experience with Old Mutual, safe to say it will be my last : Cancelled a policy in early May, but was still debited for the premium amount on 1 June and then again on 1 July 2024. Phoned in to follow up and since 4 July I have not received any money from Old Mutual, or even an ETA on when I can expect to receive the money. They can acknowledge that I've provided all the documentation and details they asked me, but other than that nothing.

So think twice, what good is a slightly cheaper insurance policy when you have to struggle like this?
