policy cancellation

I had education policy with old mutual but I lost my job and callenced it from the time I requested them to cancel the policy I was given wrong information I was told to send documents and I did then later told that my policy cannot be cancelled because I had to fill in forms first and I did and submitted them even though my policy was finally cancelled old mutual is still trying to deduct money from my account and this happened twice I ended up paying R150 for unsuccessful debit order even for Aug am due to pay the same amount which will add up to R300 I feel this is unfair because I did my part n am being punished for someone else's error
