Policy canceled without my knowledge

I want to put my dissatisfaction after many years looking for an answer. Between 2019 and 2018 I received disturbing news when I visited one of the Branch in Potchefstroom Riverwalk I learned my family funeral cover has lapsed and I immediately wanted the reason behind but I got no answer. Then I decided not to take any policy until I got answer what really transpired as my policy was deducting from perusal not debit order surprisingly on the 26th May 2024 I received a call from a consultant from head office trying to sell me a product I told her I won't take any product or do any new businesses with old mutual as am hurting if something happened we would learn our policy lapsed the consulted went through my profile and surprisingly she discovered my policy did not lapse but it was canceled a policy which is more than years was canceled how why it's a mistery meaning I paid all this year for nothing and my years money went to the drain if a case can be opened and investigated why my policy was canceled and be paid all my premiums back I would be happy
