*****. Policies opened without consent and permission.

*****. There are currently four policies under my name that were not signed up by me. I called and I was taken from pillar to post. I resorted to go to a branch situated at Mankweng, Paledi mall. They opened a ***** case and I was told they will investigate who opens these policies without my permission or consent and that they will get back to me but it has been 4 weeks now and there hasn’t been any communication. To my surprise there is a new policy opened that’s appearing on my January payslip, this was not there on the December payslip. This is happening even though I reported the initial three policies. This goes to show Old Mutual doesn’t take our complaints seriously.

Also, I cancelled two policies with them at the very same branch, Mankweng, on the 2nd of May 2025, to date January 2026 they are still deducting money. I physically went to the branch on the 13th of December to enquire but clearly that complaint is also not attended to.
