Permanently Disabled | Declined Disability Claim
I've had arthritis in my knees for years already, I definitely didn't take out a loan with the idea to claim the following year. I've been to the doctor sometime in July because I had inflammation in my right knee, the doctor issue me some medication, I went back to work and carried on as per normal.

In December 2013 my left knee dislocated and I've been booked off from work ever since, in February 2014 I had a total knee replacement.
I've had orthopedic problems since the age of 5 years old, but I lived a normal and full life, I had a left hip replacement in 1998, then a left knee operation in 1999, started a new job in 2000 where I worked for 5 years without any problems, then in 2006 I moved to my current place of work where (except for the inflammation in my right knee) I never had any problems with my knees in the 8 years I've worked there, until the dislocation of the left knee in December 2013.... So I can definitely tell you I had no idea that it would happen to me nor did I have any intention to go through that dramatic and painful dislocation to become disabled in 2014.

I've worked over 30 years in retail and my health was never a problem until now.

Mrs. E.C.
