Penalised on my premium refunds

I opened an investment with Old Mutual in 2019. I wanted an emergency fund, but the agent decided to fix it for 10 years. I later decided to cancel the investment. I was penalized for doing so. I lost more than R3000 of the money I had saved. I cancelled this beginning of December 2020. The guy who assisted me informed me that I will receive my December premium refund in January and the following 2 months as it takes time to cancel the deductions from my employer. Beginning of January I received my refund as promised. February and March, the premiums were deducted, I went to the branch to request for my refunds, only to be told that my investment was not cancelled. To my amazement, in January I received a full refund, for February and March, I was penalised again! For what? I cancelled my investment in December and received a full refund in January. What changed all of a sudden?

Please, I need my money. I'm being ****** of my hard earned money.
