Pathetic Old Mutual.

Insurance companies do from time to time come under scrutiny for conduct that is unprecedented, but Old Mutual must currently be the worst company to do any business with in the South African market. They are more worried about their BEEE status than giving their clients the service that we deserve!! When it comes to pay outs they openly commit to 15-21 working days from the time that all documentation has been lodged with them, there will be a pay out. I have now been waiting 55 days and counting!! No end in sight. When you call their customer care line expect to hold for an average of 20 to 25 min. Emails to the same service line just goes unanswered other than an electronic response. Old Mutual is pathetic and full of false promises, I wish they worried as much about their service levels as much as they worry about their BEEE status then they may get some work done!! One word could describe them......pathetic!!
