OM bank systems are always down
The OM Money Account looked very attractive. I app**** online that worked very well and quick and that is where it ended, dead in its tracks. You have to go to an OM branch to collect your card (some banks will deliver this, but still ok). However, after two visits to a branch I was told each time that the Money Account systems are down! How does a bank work when their systems are always down? Stay away or you might get stranded that you cannot transact because "our OM systems are down".

02 Aug 2019, 08:30I need to add that Old Mutual has assisted to resolve this, although it took another visit to their offices. The final result is excellent! Old Mutual Money Account is an absolute joy of a concept. Gone are the days where your savings accounts get a feeble interest and a hefty charge to move new funds into your money market account (as with all the other banks). This is a market leader product now with the lowest bank costs in the country. I am very happy with the product.
