Old Mutual's pathetic customer service and support.

I took out a retirement annuity with Old Mutual many years ago. After faithfully paying my premiums for decades, the policy finally matured on 1 November 2023. Old Mutual was then requested via my financial advisors to have the value of the investment transferred to a new investment platform/account. Notwithstanding such formal request, Old Mutual have for months ignored our instructions and have not even bothered to acknowledge and respond to our written communications. The service from Old Mutual is absolutely pathetic and unprofessional. Its a sorry state of affairs that a previously trusted company in South Africa, has deteriorated to such a deplorable customer orientated disposition. Current and new investors should carefully consider the companies they entrusted with their life savings and retirement investments. Proper homework and company research in current times have become of paramount importance!!!
