Old mutual we need answers

My father invested his retirement package. An advisor at old mutual, advised him that he will invest his entire package and will earn interest every month. Off that interest he can get a certain amount. He opted for half of that amount and reinvest the interest earned, this was back in 2016. Recently my father went ro withdraw a statement, but found 200 000 gone. When he went to old mutual, he was told that the financial advisor who worked for old mutual no longer works there, was not assisted further whatsover. In my understanding, thers is a financial impact on this, how does he know which procedures to follow. Old mutual is very unproffessional and should be investigated.
