Old Mutual - Very slack service DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CLIENTS

My mother passed away on 6 Dec 2020. She had a annuity policy with Old Mutual that was left to me as beneficiary. On 8 Dec 2020 I went in to Old Mutual's office in Matlosana Mall in Klerksdorp and completed all the claim forms with all the relevant documentation that was required. I was told it would take around 6 weeks to pay out. It is now already 3 months later and still nothing. I have sent them so many emails, tried to phone them, where you are kept on hold (for I kid you not) 3 hours!! To my emails all I get are computer generated responses. This is now getting pathetic. We are now going on for 9 weeks and counting!! Not a very good image for a company that claims that they care and are always there for their clients! I have always previously recommended them highly to everyone, but after this, NO MORE! My mom's funeral policy did not cover everything for the funeral and there is still money outstanding, which they are now starting to get nasty about. The payout from the OLD MUTUAL policy was supposed to cover the outstanding balances. This was explained to OLD MUTUAL, but they JUST DON'T CARE
