Old Mutual Trust nominates ********* Executor, Veritas Board of Executors SA (Pty) Ltd

Old Mutual Trust appointed Veritas Board of Executors SA (Pty) Ltd to finalise my dad's late estate(Estate Number: 004531/2021) who seems totally *********** in executing this task. They have delayed this claim by months stating that they are awaiting a decision from the Master but when I mailed the Master, they advised that they do not accept or reject claims, it is dealt with by the Executor.

When i went back to Veritas Board of Executors SA (Pty) Ltd, they advised that they had accepted the claim against the late estate but this information has never been communicated to the beneficiaries.

They have accepted a claim against the estate that amounts to over R200k with no validation done, the individual was not able to submit proof of payment that amounts to the claimed amount but it was accepted by the Executor and listed on the amended final liquidation and distribution account and submitted to the Master to review.

When i mailed Veritas Board of Executors SA (Pty) Ltd requesting a detailed response to my concerns raised with regards to their validation of this claim to determine it’s authenticity prior to acceptance, I was told that they have to discuss this with their director who is currently not available.

In my opinion, Veritas Board of Executors SA (Pty) Ltd who was nominated by Old Mutual Trust is totally ********* and is only interest in what percentage of the payment is due to them, not not executing the deceased's last will and testament in the correct manner.
