Old Mutual Superfund vs Old Mutual Wealth: provident fund withdrawal
I have had my provident fund with Old Mutual Superfund since 2010. When I resigned in April 2022, I had requested a transfer of my funds from Old Mutual Superfund to Old Mutual Wealth enabling a withdrawal from my funds into my personal account.
As at 15 Aug 2022, I had zero luck in getting Old Mutual to pay the withdrawal into my personal transactional account. For about four months Old Mutual Financial Advisors have been sending me from pillar to post, resulting in months of frustration due conflicting messages from the Advisors and mostly due to Old Mutual's inability to be client-oriented, the company is economically with the truth, lacks transparency and honesty regarding my funds.
Is it normal for Old Mutual [or any other financial service and credit provider] to have a four months delay in paying out clients' monies [such as investment, provident fund etc.]?
Since April 2022-August 2022, I have been singing the same tune and had completed all the consent forms, etc.
Why is it taking so long? Is it the manner in which you run your business - i.e. 04 months waiting period for the payment to be effected?
As at 17 August 2022, there is no provident money paid into my account although Old Mutual Wealth had received my TAX Directive for the required withdrawal from my provident fund.
Kindly confirm as to when this payment will be made.
