Old mutual super fund worst investment ever

A few good months ago our company decided to close the pension fund. It took old Mutual months to finalize this and we were told its normal. Be that as it may. I am no longer employed, so this money is really needed.<br> Got a SMS on the 11th of June saying payments is in progress. Till today there has been no payment, spoken to the call centre guys ... but they can only do so much.My friends from the company have all been paid. So my question why invest with a company that claims to be so big yet does not have the capacity to make payments? the idea of this fund is to help when you no longer working... I think I'll have better luck getting money at a traffic light with a funny sign.
