Old Mutual stuck in the dark ages!

Old Mutual may be a respected company in terms of performance etc but their administration of a withdrawal process needs serious revamping.

They make it excruciatingly difficult to withdraw funds by requiring a four page document to be hand filled out and signed by a commissioner of oaths. You need to provide proof of address and ID as well as Fica docs in some instances. Over and above this you then have to scan and email all this to an admin email address. After you have done all of this you have to wait 12 days to get the funds!!

Come on old Mutual I can understand if the withdrawal are being made to a third party bank account but if the withdrawal is to the same account that the funds come from in the first place you could have an online process to withdraw! There are many modern tools to authenticate the withdrawal requester is genuine which Old mutual do not seem to want to use and it is my opinion that Old Mutual has made it as difficult and a hassle as possible by design to discourage withdrawals.

Please, please! Old mutual you can do better than this!
