Old Mutual *****s

A few days ago 2 debit order attempts were made on my account. When I spoke to my bank, they contacted old Mutual who confirmed, telephonically, that I have 2 policies with them. The debit orders were for 3800 and 4300! Apparently they were for a retirement policy and a savings account. They advised that I took these policies out on 31 July with a consultant called Fritz. I was angry and shocked because FNB was saying there was was nothing I can do. I did not have 8100 in my bank account so there were now fees for unpaid debit orders due to Old Mutual's thieving.

I thought that the name Fritz sounded fami****. I checked and found that I did take out a funeral policy with Fritz from Old Mutual over a year ago. I also cancelled it almost immediately and still have the proof.

So now how the hell are you trying to debit my account for these huge amounts? Are your staff hard up for commission? So desperate that you are fabricating things in order to ***** from former clients? Show me the mandate where I gave you the permission to take my money from my account. I demand that you show me proof and don't dare make **** up.

I'm disgusted and ****ed off. The unpaid fees mean that I can't meet my obligations when my actual, legit debit orders go off.

I have read on other forums that the same thing has happened to others. The reference number used on these debit order attempts are exactly the same as the reference used in other people's debit orders. Their amounts are around R400 , but 4300?! THAT IS SHOCKING! Fritz and Old Mutual are you looking for early Christmas bonuses?

How dare you do this to me? Then, to top it all, you leave me with unpaid fees on my account and you walk away unaffected? How many people have you successfully ******?

I want someone to call me because your replies to my emails (when you do bother to reply) are brainless. All you do is tell me "we have received your request to cancel your policy". WHAT POLICY!?

If someone walks up to you and robs you, you go to the police. What do I do in this situation?

Answer me you *****s.
