Old Mutual SA - I&J Pension Fund IRREGULARITIES ??

<p>OM = Old Mutual Irvin &amp; Johnson Pension Fund =Old Fund from 1946 - 1998 July 31 (Defined Benefit Fund. Name is changed to Irvin &amp; Johnson Retirement Fund on 01.08.1998) Defined Contribution Fund<br /> Old Fund wanted to change names. Gives pensioners a choice. Transfer to an insurer with liability or join the new fund. +- 700 want to go to an insurer. The New Fund + OM enters an \under the table contract to purchase compulsory annuities for the Old Fund pensioners using the New Funds rules. No compulsory annuities could be forced on them ON THE OLD RULES. The pensioners don't know about this contract. Mrs H was simultaneously on 2 policies, 2 sets of fund rules and 2 different Funds at the same time. But no pay for the over lap of +- 3.5 years. Old Mutual insists the Old Fund purchased the 1st policy. To support that lie OM sent 2 false copies of policies to Mrs H to prove the Old Fund purchased the 1st policy. The original policy shows that to be a lie. Insurance Ombudsman caught OM out. How can the New Fund buy policies on behalf of the Old Fund using the new fund rules? How can the Old Fund still operate after 01.08.1998. It is supposed to be closed ? Something is seriously wrong "</p>
