Old mutual ****s people. Old people.

I am writing this review with a very heavy heart. My father has been loyal to old mutual for the longest time. His mother died in June 24. We called this insurer and the said that policy lapsed in May.

In my understanding. A policy can lapse in May if March and April are not paid. Please correct me if i am wrong.

My old man went to a branch to ask if his things are in order and he was given thumbs up. He decided to take a bus to Limpopo confidently so. He told his siblings that old mutual will pay, he went to the thohoyandou branch and submitted documents. And then the next day he is told that he wont be paid because of unknown reason. When we ask whats wrong, they say he missed 2payments in 2022 but he has proof that he paid.

Old mutual takes advantage of old people. People that depend on grant. It is very disgusting. I will come to that head office and i need answers.

I will turn that office upside down.

I does not end there. My cousin was rejected for the same funeral. Old mutual said that he will paid, he must open another account and he did. But then he was told it was cancelled long time ago.

Nonsense!!! I am very bored.
