Old Mutual Rewards "Sign up for Free" a big SHAM
I signed up for the rewards program because anyone can "Sign up for free" which is pure lies! I spent my time completing the survey because of the promise that Old Mutual has made but alas, it's not that straightforward. When I want to spend the rewards as promised, I'm told I must send documents. I emailed the program, explaining that I have no means to certify my document but was willing to send any other proof, I've sent my recent phone bill, proof of account from my bank as well as a copy of my (uncertified) ID but with my signature. I am even willing to send a picture of myself holding my ID if that's what it will take but no, Old mutual is not willing to meet me halfway, the consultant I was dealing with, Nothemba Biyana decided to just ignore my emails after some time...
So Old Mutual, the same questions that were ignored by Nothemba Biyana:
Please then explain why there isn't any warning about not being able to spend the points until you send a CERTIFIED ID COPY? I had to spend time completing the surveys only to be told in the end that I cannot spend the points because I now have to visit a police station or find a commissioner of oaths? I see this as misleading as I wouldn't have joined the program if I knew that the "Free" is no really "Free"
I have now even taken more time to go through the terms to find where it specifies that you require certified documents for the points to be spent and I couldn't find anything. So I'm asking, please point me to the line that tells me that I will need to provide this specific document:

Or, please tell me where it says I need to send the certified ID on this page:
