Old Mutual rejected claim yet their financial advisor was ***********

Old Mutual didn't pay yet it was their *********** staff that conveyed incorrect information about the policy. I took a retrenchment cover in July 2017 after I was told that the waiting period for the cover is 1 month, even the quotation sent said that. Policy started in August 2017. Unfortunately I got retrenched end November 2017. Submitted my claim in December. Was told the waiting period was 6 months. I've been to Ombudsman and even took the matter further. Old Mutual protected their staff even though he gave me incorrect information. Old Mutual can't be trusted anymore. I can't wait to get a job and move all my policies to another insurance company.
