Old Mutual refusing to pay medical claim

I under went brain surgery in Noveber last year at UCT Pivate Academic Hospital. As part of the recovery period, I picked up peomonia, and it was during this period transferred to Vincent Palotti Rehab. At the stage of trasfer I still had a trachy in, and 2 weeks into my stay at Vincent Palotti I under went an operation to insert a PEG. For the PEG and the trachy, I required extensive medical care and a visit to the Vincent Palotti operating theatres.

After my stay, I submitted a claim to Old Mutual in terms of my medical benefit of my Flexisorg policy.

Old Mutual refused the claim, stating that they did not view Vincent Palotti Rehab as a hospital.

The doctor in charge of the rehab facility submitted a letter indicating that the rehab facility satisfies all the requirements in terms of the policy, to be classified as a hospital.

Old Mutual again refused the claim.

On my request to specify which requirement was not met,
I was sent the list off all requirement.

With further request, all I was told was to protect the viability of the Flexisorg benefit, they cannot classify Life Rehab at VincentPaotti Hospital cannot be classified as a hosital.
