Old Mutual refusing to pay

I have been paying all my premiums and have never made any claims. I had a life cover and education plan and have not missed any payments from 2017 when opening the policies. On the 5th of May, I called in to have all my policies cancelled. My life cover was only cancelled last week. As for my educational plan, it has not been cancelled till today. Every now and then I have to call Old mutual and wait for my call to be answered daily for about 30 minutes. And this is the time where they are supposed to refund the money I have paid to them. All I have been getting from them is pure incompetence. They are asking for documents I have long sent...This is not the first case. My brother-in-law had covered his sister for 20K, unfortunately the sister did not have any ID but she was issued a death certificate and we submitted all the documents to Old mutual (including the BI13 which stated that she died of cancer at Bara Hospital). This happened in early March. Till today, Old mutual has not paid the money. We had to ask for donations to bury the sister of my brother-in-law because Old mutual is either refusing or taking its sweet time to pay. I would definitely NOT recommend Old Mutual to anyone.
