Old Mutual refuses to pay out

I am so dissapointed and hurt at the service i have been receiving at old mutual over the past few weeks. My dad had a comprehensive group scheme cover that was underwritten by old mutual. Cover he took up in 1984. My dad passed on in 1992 and my mom who was still covered by the above mentioned comprehensive cover, she passed away in December. I have been going to different branches with the cover booklets that reflect all the information but all i get at the branch is that they can not pick anything up on the system. of course they wont pick anything up on the system, it is a cover that was taken up in 1984. they then go on to put me on the phone with head office who then put me through from pillar to post. can someone please tell me how to go about claiming from this policy cos i know for a fact that it does exist.
