Old Mutual Protektor Incompetence
I have had it with Old Mutual Protektor .Last year I wanted to transfer monies from my preservation fund into another approved fund .I was told by one of the consultants that it could not be done .I challenged this as I know this to be the contrary of what is allowed .Eventually I received an apology and the documents required were sent to me including the instructions of what to do .Last week I submitted those forms and then a couple of days later recieved an SMS stating that I could not do a withdrawal as I have used my one withdrawal. I did not want to withdraw funds !!!!!!! I want to transfer my funds to another approved fund !!!!! How *********** can people be .I stated clearly on the mail I sent that it was a transfer and even attached correspondence from the administrators of the other fund as there seems to be a complication in terms of the documents required by Old Mutual Protektor . Can people not even read mails ? Do people just get a request and not even take time to read the actual mail that the documents are attached to .I am considering options of taking this matter to the pension fund adjudicators or to a court of law should I sustain any losses whatsoever .This is not acceptable and this level of incompetence goes against TCF . Even if I had maybe erred in completing the relevant forms, if the consultant responsible had just taken time to read my email then these further delays of completing this process could have been avoided .My reference number allocated to me was PRTKR*** .
