Old Mutual not responding to life insurance claim

The service I have been receiving from Old Mutual regarding the processing of a life insurance claim has been extremely disappointing. Just to get feedback regarding the registration of my claim was a painful and long process. After more than a month from confirmation of receipt by them, I received an email to say that the claim was processed and paid out. Since then, about 6 weeks have passed without receiving the claim. Various follow-up emails have plainly been ignored . I can not even say that the service is unprofessional because there is NO service. Beware of buying an Old Mutual policy!
