Old Mutual Not Paying Out Retirements Savings

Hello Readers,

Not even sure where to start because I am writing this on behalf of my pensioner dad who had an invest policy with Old Mutual. The policy was specifically for retirement, and he has now retired but Old Mutual does not want to release his funds.

He is taken from pillar to post about this, and no branch wants to help. The initial contact was made at the Marble Hall Branch, then Groblersdal but all consultants keep promising they would help but nothing is happening. His retirement age was set for 65 when he started savings but due to some sicknesses ended up retiring right at 60, which is acceptable by the world of work.

This just triggers a lot of emotions and reminds one of the incidences where this company was trending on social media, I am here to confirm that they indeed hold payouts back!

Please do not sign up for either investment policies or funeral covers, imagine how much your family members would struggle obtaining the money if you are dead, because it's worse difficult while still alive!
