Old Mutual non-responsive
I have been battling with a payout since mid April 2020. It is impossible of getting through to any person at Old Mutual. Most frustrating company to deal with. One of their comments are that people are working from home and they (Old Mutual) have little control over their output. What a load of nonsense!! Pathetic service!

It is by far, the absolute worse service ever in my existence. I guess pride and work ethics di not matter. Would love to have me proven wrong

26 Aug 2020, 07:08It has taken 4 months, but I was eventually paid. Not sure what gave them enough motivation. Could have been Hello Peter or the Ombudsman or the many posts on social media platforms. The amount paid out is much less than the estimates, but I guess that could be the fluctuation in share price. Had they paid out when instructed to, it would have been around R20k more. The price I paid for inferior service.
