OLD MUTUAL MONEY ****MERS FOR THE POOR

In 2017 I joined/app**** for Life Cover with Old Mutual, and the deductions were indeed in place as from 2017 and to my surprised in 2023 May I find out my life cover has lapse. Which I don't know how, the deductions go through Persal (through salary), I found out when I was at the branch checking my profile. My question is if I did not go to the branch how was I supposed to know? and now they're telling me that my policy lapsed without any communication provided to me. This is totally unacceptable, and consultants refuse to help in this matter. It is Old Mutual's fault, and I want my policy to be reinstated A.S.A.P. They told me that PERSAL system kicked them out when they were deducting the monthly installments and I went to my HR office, and they advised me that is impossible. Old Mutual please reinstate my policy, I cannot pay it for more than 4 years and let it lapse.
