OLD MUTUAL LIFE – UNAUTHORISED DEDUCTIONS FOUND ON PAYSLIP

I am extremely frustrated with Old Mutual Life. This issue is not new and has happened before. Previously, Old Mutual made unauthorised deductions from my salary. I reported the matter, closed the policy, and the deducted money was refunded.

However, Old Mutual has now started deducting money again, without my consent, on a policy that was already closed.

I only became aware of this because I noticed the deduction on my payslip, not because Old Mutual informed me.

I did not authorise any new policy, nor did I give permission for deductions to restart. The fact that this was discovered through my payslip makes the situation even more concerning.

Issues experienced:

Unauthorised deductions appearing on my payslip

Deductions restarted after the policy was closed

No communication or consent from my side

Financial stress caused by Old Mutual’s actions

Because this matter had already been resolved in the past, I have opened a police case as this behaviour appears *****ulent. It is unacceptable that a large financial institution continues to deduct money without authorisation.

I demand:

Immediate cancellation of the policy

A full refund of all unauthorised deductions

A written explanation of how deductions resumed on a closed policy

I strongly warn consumers to regularly check their payslips and bank statements when dealing with Old Mutual. My experience shows a repeated pattern of unauthorised deductions.

This is completely unacceptable from a company that claims to be trustworthy.
