Old Mutual Life cover

I Bongekile C Mzobe I D no *** my contact no:*** I had a life cover with Old Mutual long time ago maybe it nearly 20Years now I was paying more than R1200 premium(greenlight) to my surprise on Oct 2024 when I checked my payslip I find that I was paying only R150 I went straight to nearest branch (Galleria Amanzimtoti) the consultant that I was talking to he gave me 3 forms to fill it In to reinstate my policy at home I filled what I knew n went back to them because I wasn't clear about some information I talked to one of consultant she phoned someone to find out about the policy n told me that my policy lapsed in March 2024 and her how because I was paying for that policy till August 2024 according to my payslips they pointed fingers to my Dept of education that are the one who take away the policy because the payslip was full and also asked them how because it been 10 years not taking any policy from payslip but my point was how my employer know what is included in my life cover to pick up R150 to be my funeral cover and who asked them to choose funeral cover on my behalf they had no answers. As big company like Old Mutual they didn't send any information about lasing policy even my employer didn't contact me about changes. So at this moment I don't trust them anymore I wish them to pay back all my premiums since I joined them
