Old Mutual Lies

I have never been this broken and angry because of the lies Old Mutual consultant sold me. January 4 I went to Old Mutual Southgate mall to open a savings account and was helped by Lindokuhle Mthethwa. When he finished opening the savings account for me he asked if I don't want a loan and I said "I won't qualify because I have accounts I'm not paying since 2022 because I was not working" he said let's check, he did and showed exactly what I said. He printed and said make arrangements with them and pay for two months, since your score is on average it's a good thing.

He said I should make arrangements and make two payments then go to him after five days of the second payment. I did exactly that and then when I got to Southgate on 17th he said his head office says I made the second payment too soon I should have made it on the 27th of February not the 5th as he advised me. He said I should come back on the 27th and all will be well.

His point was for me to apply and consolidate these debts and only owe them while my credit score is good or very good. I asked him if he was sure that this will work as I will be borrowing people's monies to pay for the arrangements, he said hundred percent sure it will approve. I trusted him since it's his job. On the 27th he said please make Nedbank credit card and FNB credit cards payment and all will be fine, he sent screenshot of R10 000 offer. I said "I don't have money you know I told you and that you didn't promise me R10 000 but it's okay I'll pay people's monies" I borrowed again a R1000 and made immediate payments as per his instruction.

He said I should go to the branch on Tuesday and I went and he said I spoke to a lady from Letsatsi and she checked your things and said they will offer you a R30 000 instead let's go there I didn't want to give her your documents without your permission. We went and it failed I asked " won't this affect anything if Letsatsi fails?" he said no it won't. Today I went as he said he'll do my application today and I should just go sign. When I get there he greeted then said he was coming went wherever and when he got back was busy on his computer started calling two people asking them if they can help and I don't know what the response was.

All I said is please give that ten thousand so that I can people people one person that borrowed me money said its her stokvel money for the 10th. The offer closed because he took me to Letsatsi that affected my score. He then went out called Mr Mabaso who speloke to me and wanted to hear the side of my story, afterwards explained that Lindokuhle was not supposed to sell me what he couldn't offer and profusely apologize and called the manager who also apologised after I told her my story.

Right now people want their monies and how am I going to pay for the arrangements I made after he failed me and sold me lies and promised a peaceful process! Right now I have a headache and my blood pressure is high since I suffer from it. I didn't know that Old Mutual as big as it is sells lies and put people's health and life in danger am so broken and angry 💔💔💔. If I sleep and never wake up Lindokuhle Mthethwa must take care of my son because he'll be the reason why I died.
