Old mutual is not reliable enough, they are declining my disability claim while I'm currently not able to work i am medically boarded, i even provided all the medical reports and x-rays and also medical board letter
I am Norma Princess Mbutho I have a policy a life and disability cover from Old mutual, Policy number 69341N***, reference no:CEB***. I worked for SAPS as Police official and on the 03/03/2019 i was involved in a mva and was hospitalized and did operations. I did a spinal fusion and knee cartilage replacement. Old mutual did not finalize my claim because they wanted a letter from the state stating that i am not fit to work or a medical board letter... I submitted a medical boarding letter and they rejected my claim. I forwarded all the medical reports and x-rays to them they have all the doctor's reports and now i am not able to work due to my disability and i am medically boarded. I am no longer100% due to my injury. Will you please assist me with this issue i have with old mutual. I've been paying for this policy for more than 10years now.

On the 15/08/2023 i received a message from old mutual declining my claim, stating the same thing that I do not understand because I recently submitted the letter from my doctor and i am not working due to my disability and i am medically boarded.
I don't know if old mutual is sorting this issue or it was an old massage from them before i even send them the letter from my doctor.
I am not okay at all, I've paying for this policy for more than10 years now

Yesterday on the 17/082023 i received the same message again, declining this claim with policy no:69341N***.
The sms say :the claim was declined as your impairment did not meet the contractual requirement as per your policy documents.
I am disabled, medically boarded, not able to work i forwarded all the doctors reports and medical board letter.
At least you must pay back my premiums i and sick and tired of old mutual now.
