Old Mutual is a *****

If you want to save yourself the Time, Money and Stress of getting ****ed more likely by a heart attack because of #OldMutual, I would rather suggest try look elsewhere and give yourself the time and energy of finding a Proper insurer.

Old Mutual is nothing but a ****, You will regret the day you Join when it Is time to claim from your policy.

The Consultants are very nice when you Join but Hell will open its doors when you have to claim or try to get any form of communication with them when you're in trouble. You will never get a call from them, you will never receive any emails to your queries and you will be frustrated by the "Call Backs" you will never receive when they promise to get back to you after an incident.

They may sound cheap but their unsuccessful or unwillingness to pay out is super expensive when you are in trouble.

This i say as I was in August, involved in a Vehicle accident coming home from work (Insured with Iwyze Old Mutual), driving my vehicle at a speed of 50+ /60 km.ph.... Was told that my Claim was rejected because of gross negligence.

So I asked what is Gross negligence? And they said I was traveling at 70km/ph...

I disputed this. And I lodged a Formal complaint with the Office of the Ombudsman because they did not return my grievances emails nor did I get any Luck when I was calling and talking with their managers... Instead I wasted a lot of money doing calls and writing emails.

The matter is now with the office of the ombudsman and I have been told I would be hearing from them next year (2020) as the matter is investigated.

I got A loan and bought myself another vehicle and have not insured it as yet as I have been traumatized by Iwyze Old Mutual insurance, I felt cheated and ****** in broad daylight by a Company I always thought to be reputable.

Do not make the Same mistake most of us have. Choose wisely and listen to other peoples opinions, they know and they have been there...

Eg: We all have seen in the news and papers even on social media of the Two Ladies from KZN who had to drag a corps into their offices just so they would be taken seriously.

That is the kind of Business Old Mutual is. Whether from short term or Long Term insurance, I would highly suggest that one looks elsewhere and see a better service provider. There is non with OM only regrets.

I have already and thankfully canceled all my other investments and policies with them.
