OLD MUTUAL FUNERAL POLICY SERVICES IS DYSFUNCTIONAL

Old Mutual admin is completely dysfunctional! If I wasn't 70yrs oldvand likely to pay a large premium for a new Funeral Policy elsewhere I would leave asap. My husband passed away last year. After contacting them by email I filled in a DEBIT ORDER for a new policy in my name. I asked them to let me know what outstanding monies there were. The did not reply at all. (This was not the only email I sent. 1. Their 0860 number is impossible.........after half an hour you have to just put the phone down. 2. Their email response leads to no solution at all to the problem. 3. Their 087... number just cuts dead before even ringing through. 4. I finally get someone today on a telkom line only to be told that I need to go into the Bloemfontein Middestad and speak to someone. No one who values life or possessions, goes into middestad! I get another email today saying my policy is now cancelled because of outstanding monies, YET I WAS NEVER TOLD WHAT I OWE. I will not pay this money as I don't know whether it will be received or acknowledged. I cannot send the Debit order through again as AGAIN it may be ignored like the first one. This is one lousy, *********** side to Old Mutual. My sympathy to all Funeral Policy Holders
