Old Mutual ***** on Greenlight Life Policy

After cancelling a green light life policy in September 2018. The policy was reactivated without my permission by the consultant I dealt with on the 28 January 2019 and then the same consultant resigned from his job on 30 January 2019. As a result of this, it has incurred bank charges to reverse the money taken from my account, loss of income as I had to leave work to sort it out. Several phone calls and visits to the various old mutual branches to ensure that the policy is cancelled. Old mutuals only reply and solution to this situation has been a phone call saying "we are so sorry about this but actually this is between yourself and the consultant that opened the policy for you". I have since received an email from old mutual telling me that the policy I cancelled is in arrears and I need to sort this out as soon as possible to avoid a negative credit rating. Old Mutal has information regarding my medical history, proof of residency, several copies of my signature, my banking details, etc. So how long will it take before my policy is actually cancelled and my private information is secured. And what protection do I have from any consultants at Old Mutal who might decide that they will use this information.
