Old Mutual finance loan *******
I opened a loan account February 2023 , principal debt of R157000 with R5600 instalment, unfortunately missed 3 instalments due to financial constraints I was not well, it’s been 3 years now the outstanding amount still sits at R144000 with over 2 years payment on it, in 2024 I resorted to start paying extra of about R1000 more to settle areas it’s been over 6 months paying extra with no movement on my areas account as well as my initial loan account, im paying close to R7000 every month but no movement on my loan account , absolutely ridiculous!!! As a result I can’t take anymore credit to even settle them because even settling areas by my own there’s no movement on my account, is 29% interest even legal to charge a customer by Old Mutual???
