Old Mutual dont care

Old mutual complaints department dont put their clients first. They are just their to cover for old mutual. They dont care about anyone. Now we are in deep financial distress we are about to get evicted out of our house, we cant buy food, meds, and pay electricity, i worked for 18years and for what, just for old mutual to smile all the way. If i did understand the plan the advisor said i must take, i would never never ever take the plan, now i am about to loose everything, and old mutual dont want to give me my money back so yes this is for trusting old mutual 😭we must move to a settlement for poor people who cant aford to pay rent and electricity this is so so unfair, is this how a retirement life should be me and my wife are hard broken thank you old mutual

Today i received a notification that old mutual blocked my emails i send to them. The complaints department and the Arbitration department. Why would a company do this. Why dont they communicate with me to try to get a solution to this problem. This is not a how you treat a client that trusted old mutual's advisor to do what is best for the client and his money. This is unacceptable. They no my problem. There is no evert from there side. I the client must just expect and move on. The sad part is me and my wife is about to loose our rental flat which we lived in for 18 years because of an adviser that did not make 100% sure i understand the plan. Now we are loosing every thing. This is not fair. Old mutual is not looking out for there clients.

Old mutual has made a decision to favor them self. We are goinig to lose our house, we cant pay the rent, we must sell our car and then we must walk were we want to be. I worked hard for my money and now old mutual have the pleasure of it. I am a Dibetic no one will give me a job and i am 59. So yes people, please do your home work, make sure you understand what you sign, it means nothing to old mutual when you dont understand. It is very sad, i worked for that money and i thought i will do somthing nice for me and my wife. Now we are suffering and soon to be homeless. This is not wat i wanted for us on our retirement days. The income plan old mutual thinks is good for me,is not helping us at all. Why did i worked for years and someone else decided you cant get all your pension money. If i new this is what is going to happen i would never every set foot in a old mutual office, never. Old mutual blocked my emails and they reply on Hello Peter in private. "our decision is final. They dont care abouy us the got the money and that is that. I will never have my money in my hands again, according to old mutual if i die my beneficiarys will get the money. So so unfear why did i work. I cant trust old mutual how will i be certain my wife will get the money after i passed away people if you goning to retire go to somone that are will to help you and not there company, and they must do what is best for you not for them like old mutual. The got my money, and i must pay them R457 every month to make sure the money wil be there so the making extra money every month for 10years i giving old mutual R58000 extra just give it to them mahala please guy's do your home work before trusting this company with your money.

I did went to the complaints department and the the ombudsman and they dont care about my case. The favor old mutual. I regret the day i did business with old mutual. I worked for years and now i am old and sick and i must suffer for some plan i did not understand.When i sign the contract i was thinking ok i can trust the advisor allthou i did not understand the plan and the contract was in English and i cant read English. I am sitting here and tell my son in afrikaans to tipe in English because i cant read and write English. Yes there is people who dont understand English. And it is my money i worked for it and now old mutual dint want to talk to me or read my emails. All i want is my money back. So i can save my renting house and buy food and medicine. Pay my electric bill. Why must we that are to old to work now suffer because of an bad decision. A decision i thought it was best, but now i know. I did not understand. So yes please please give my money back. So me and my wife can live a little beter, we also deserve to stay in our house pay the rent as we did for the whole time i have been working. Now we must suffer without food and that is why i am so upset. Work for many years to buld up my pension and now, i am suffering, struggling the to the basic. But i cant do this no more the end of Sept. We must be out of our hous we were renting for 18years, were were must we go. Me and my wife dont sleep at night because of all the stress. And all old mutual is saying sory, you can get your money back. This is not fair. For somthing i did not understand and sign a contract the was not in afrikaans, and was not my fault i did not understand all the stuff, we are not all educated people, i made st. 8 in a afrikaanse school so yes. What i did was not what i wanted.

I just want to ask people to be very careful when you go to old mutual. Take some one with you, so you can make sure you understand what they are offering you. I am heart broken, that a company as old mutual now have say over my money, i worked so hard for all those years, just because i did not understand the plan. And why cant i get my money back. I need my money to live in these difficult times. Me and my wife are sick and we need money for medical care. For 18 years we lived on our own, now we must move to a backroom in some ones jart, because we cant pay our rent anymore, we cant buy food, and pay electricity. Is this what happen when you retire and go to old mutual to helping you investing my money. Why must we suffer and it is my money. Is this the rules of South Africa, to take peoples money and let them suffer. That is terrible, we are begging old mutual to give back our money🙏🙏they dont want to talk to us, they blocked my emails and they say i must accept there outcome, how do i accept there outcome when my life is falling apart. Please be careful when you retire, dont just accept the company is doning the best for you, the do it for them self, and dont care for you after you have sign the contract. I would never never sign the contract at old mutual if i did understand what will be happing in the long run to me.

I did contact old mutual departments for my complaint. Every single one, and all i get is the same reply. And they send contracts over and over again. I dont need more contracts, i need this plan, that i misunderstood, and not properly informed. To be canceled and i want my money back. Old mutual did not looked out for me for my best interest, and did not help me to understand, in this time of live in our world, how how must i serving in this stage of my live with R3900 a month. I sold all my stuff already to just eat and stay in our flat. Now i have nothing left to sell, to pay my rent we were staying for 18years in that place. Now because of a income plan i did not understand and sign the contract, old mutual dont care oubout me now, for them it is just the money. For me and my wife, we must move into a small room without a bath or a toilet in. So this is retirement in SA. I work for a better live, and now that better live is been taken away because of, me did not understand and was not advised for what will happen in the future. If i just new, me and my wife will be suffering like this, i would never never gave my money to old mutual. No body wants to give me a job because of my age 59 and i am Diabetes. Inject my self 2 times a day. The room's rent will be R2500 per month R100 extra when we wants to do washing with our hands. So yes this is very very sad. I already did that aswell. And all they have to say is what you from old mutual saying. Sory if this is not the outcome you want, all of them is working for old mutual, so how are they going to help me. The complaints department, the arbitrator, and the ombudsman. They favor old mutual. So dont send me a reply private and every time it is the same reply. I have the right to have money to pay rent and electricity, and old mutual is taking that right away from me. Old mutual is always replying back in private. Please people do your home work when you retire and dont think these financial companies have your best interest in mind, no they are just in it for the money. Me and my wife had the worst times of our lives since last year i did business with old mutual. I will say it again we have lost all our stuff and must move so yes this is what they think of me. So yes since 26th of Sept old mutual is quite. They just dont want to compromise, and dont want to talk to me. Now we have lots everything, and they still sitting with my money. How does the world work. If you have nothing left in live you are a zero, me and my wife are so sick about this problem an the fact we had to move out of our house we have rented for 18years, this is heart breaking. And old mutual dont care. They do not care about there clients or there future, nothing as long as the got your money, you mean nothing to them. Today is the 10 of October i am struggling since July with old mutual. This department is send my story to that department and so it go. And nobody have the time to phone me and try to help me. This is old mutual for you. They say on ther advertising MAKE EVERYDAY GREAT???!!!!!!. But my live is ruined by them so how must me and my wife have a great day, when we cant even buy food meds for a whole month. This is not to much to ask please give my money back so i can also have a great day,like you say. People please make sure you under stand when you go to old mutual, and make sure of your future before you do business.

Today is the 17 Oktober and we started with old Mutual 26July. And the dont care, nothing. I can pull al my hair out because i did business with old mutual. I wish a can puy pictures on here to show everyone how me and my wife must stand under a zozo tank, and wash our self under the oulet pipe just to get clean. We moved to a room, because of cant afford out apparent we had stayed for 18years,just because of a advisor that did not care if i did understand, and she did not even discuss the future with me. Now this is my future in a small room no bath no toilet. And we are suffering, suffer is n nice word, this live is a nightmare. If i did understand i would not even talk to old mutual. If i only understand the story i would not do it like this. I did not even no what the future will bring. The future now is full of depression, tears, and there is no one that can help us. I must suffer like this and die then maybe my wife can have a better live. But this is so unfair, i worked hard and not in good conditions every day, but i started at my job, thinking it will get bettet. I was so so wrong to trust some one else with my lifs worked money, and now we are slaves to people, just to have a roof over our heads. I wish i can turn back time, then i would took all my money, leave it in my bank, just to pay my rent, buy foof and medicine. So yes old mutual dont make our day great, the let us suffer like never before. I dont no how long me and my wife can stand this. Every day is just the same cry, cry, and heart broken overall of this. Somthing i did not under stand and was not counselled for the future. So yes old mutual is breaking hearts 😭😭

This morning old mutual reply in private again and said, i must take the case to this place that place. Why why must i fight for my own money, 25 private replys and still old mutual dont care if me and my wifi starve and stay in very bad conditions and for what, a decisions i made i did not understand, a decision i made upon misleading from the advisor. The advisor did not inform me what will happen in the future. I was so stressed at the time, we had to cope with retirement and all the ups and downs, we had to make changes, and it was December and the advisor was always busy or late for a next client, she did not explain the English contact to me before i sign. And on the 26 July 2022 with a home visit from the advisor. That was the day se explain it all to my wife in a not nice attitude. I did told her in my living room, "you did not explain it to me as you did now" she was so gross se turn red in her face. And she left, leaving me with my sugar level at 28 and i was realy sick from there and since 26July she did not phone me or sms to hear are you and your wife ok, no she did not even have the empathy to call us, but she reserved a nice amout of commission. And me and my wife lost all our stuff we bought over the years, we lost our home, we lost our money. Why is it so difficult for old mutual to give back my money, they can start the process so SARS can take what belongs to them and i can have my share back. That i can use my money that i worked for as i please. I am heart broken over this. I am not a very intelligent guy, me and my wife did not now all the stuff of retirement, we are not fully schooled, and there was no one for us, i had to do all these things by my self. I was just scared for the Tax and all the ****s that is going on. But companies do take people like me and my wife not very serious, we are always just been brush off.This is the most difficult live for me and my wife. This is abuse, my lifes work was taken away from me, because of me did not understand all the ins and outs of old mutual. Today is the 21October. Old mutual send me an email on Wednesday and it say, "we will send your complaint to the complaints department. Old mutual is so *********** with this, i did on the 8 of August 2022 give my complaint in at old mutual offices and the complaint was sign on delivery. Then i send it to old mutual complaints department, after they emailed me and said, "Sory nothing can be done. The i send it to the ombudsman and the Arbitration dep. And all had the same answer. Then i send it to FAIS, and stil waiting feed back. Now my question is, why why must i struggle so much to get my money back, why must this go for this place to that place. I am suffering now, me and my wife are in bad shape of this situation. Why is there not one off old mutual people that can man up and phone me. But before my money was transferred to old mutual. They phoned and what's up almost every day, to say we are waiting for your money. No this is how they treat a client who is not happy😢😢😠😠

Today is the 27 October, sins 08 August 2022 we are struggling with old mutual. I went through all there departments to complain about this and now they are silent i no the case is been investigating with a other party. So this is what we must do fight fight for what is mine with old mutual. Me and my wife are sick people and cant live in this small room, it is warm and no shade and there is no space, we cant wash ourselves properly in a bucket of cold water, we cant use a bucket at night for toilet, we must pay to use the toilet in the land lords house, we must pay to do our washing in the land lord wasing machine. We must clean the garden for free. My wife have Rheumatoid Athritis and she cant do all of that. I have Dibetis and inject my self 2 times a day with insulin. So this is what my live is now, after working for 18 years and though i can trust old mutual to gave me the best advice. Now me and my wife is in deep depression. Is this what you getting for worked so hard, and did not understand all the money matters off old mutual. They must make people's live better not make them poorer and living in terrible conditions. I just want my money back so me and my wife can live a little beter. For now it is a nightmare. And all because i did not understand and the advisor did not take my future in consideration. Oky old mutual send a reply that say, if i dont like the answer of the outcome i must take it further. I did take it further, old mutual got my money and misled me, and now the advisor is in the clear because she says she did her job. Oky she did her job, ao why am i in this situation of no house to live in not water no electricity, no toilet, so how did the advisor do her job, she did not advise me about the future, she did not advise me on will you cope with this 3900 per month, did she make sure, a 100% sure i did understand what is what with my money. No she did not advise me, she did not make sure i no what will happen in the future. No she did not explain it to me, like she explained it to my wife on the 26th July in my house. The firts contract she gave to me was not a full contract. Only on the 26th July she came with a full contract print in color. Why did se let me sign a contract standing in her office, on her way out, in a hurry to go see some one els. So yes old mutual you no my story now, and why is that a need to fight you for my money. I DOT WANT THIS PLAN AT OLD MUTUAL. I DONT WANT MY MONEY IN YOUR HANDS ENY MORE. In SA we have rights and old mutual is taking away my rights to have a decent home to live in the right to have electricity is taken away. Just because old mutual dont want to see people happy. For old mutual it is all about the money. I worked for that money very hard. Now a am old and sick and i must live like this just because i am not a clever guy and the advisor took a change to make a fat commission. Old mutual reply so many times, and all the reply said, is old mutual is not at fault. The are the right party in this case. I did do all the complaint dep. The ombudsman, the arbitration, and FIAS. it is 2 months i dont hear from the Fias and they dont feel the need to contact me in any way i send emails but nothing. The complaints dep. ombudsman every time is the same answer. Old mutual is not giving my money back. They are dep. of old mutual, so why would the favor me. We are living in a land that just take and they dont care about the person whom they take from. So in my case i dod not understand all the stuff the advisor was talking about and she did not advise me what to expect in the future. She this wanted this deal to be done before closing for the Christmas holidays. I would never never had sign papers if i did now what she had told me on the 26th of July in my house. If the advisor had told me before signing papers that i would suffer because the 38000rand a month would not cover all my expenses. And i am dibetic and 59 years old were in this land will i get a job, nowere because sins july i am looking for a job. There is no place for sick people in this land. She did not told me this stuff. The money i one 3rd i got out, i paid all my debts so that i would not struggle with debt. If i new this is what is going to happen, i would never every paid my debts of. And use the money for rent and foof. Because i thought after 10years i will get my money back. Boy was i wrong. I was misled, i was misinformed, i was in a school for children who can not learn so yes i did not learn to speak and read English. So yes this is not my fault, the advisor saw that and did not make sure i had all the information regarding my montly pensioen and what about my futur. Since 26th July not one person or the lady that advis me would talk to me. I only heard form old mutuals advisor on the 26th July and never again. The advisor was on my what's up but she blocked me. Not even a manager phone and said come in to the office so tha we can talk, no one til today 11th November 2022 phone and try to talk to us. That is a the company old mutual i though i could trust, i was so so wrong, they dont care for there clients, they just took my money and throu me out like a rotten piece of food. We cant bath we use a bucket for a toilet we are sleeping in very bad conditions. And is this what i was working for, to live like this. 😭And old mutual have my money and they are making more money for them selfs. Me and my wife is more than heartbroken over this we were fiting alot, because i did not understand and i though the advisor would give me the best advise for me, but i was so so wrong.There is no one you can trusts these days, if they no you are going to het money, they are so greedy to get your money in there hands. There is a lot of old people who had trusted someone with there life savings and there money is gone, so yes i am one of those people. And they dont care after they took your money. I hope someday all those people that have worked with my money at old mutual, will feel the pain, and suffering and crying at night because of some one that had mislead you and did not make 100%sure you did understand i hope they will feel it some day. Old mutual is not looking out for people. And there are 1000 of people that have problems with old mutual and nothing is been done to help were they can. Please people dont just sign papers make sure you understand and make sure you can maintain a decent live style before you give your retirement money to old mutual

It is me again with old mutual from 8th August till now. We have been block from the old mutual office were i went with my money. Al the complaints dep. say there is nothing they can do i cant get my money back. I did not ***** that money, i did not worked for old mutual. I worked for 18 years, every month my pension fund took money from my salaris to make sure i have money when i retired. And i made a huge mistake to believe the advice from a advisor that said this is the best plan for you. Now i must live a whole month with 3900 rand se pose to get 4400 rand, but old mutual is taking 457 rand some just for them. And all of this because i did not understand what i was doing. Me and my wife live like homeless people now, but i worked for 18years for this money. Now old mutual dont want to give my money back. How how must i live with 3900 rand me and my wife is in a terrible state. Before my money was transferred to old mutual, they phone me every dat and whats up me. After they got my money and i complain the dont want to talk to me they dont answer my calls. Why is there companys that is advertising on tv an social media, that they care about you as their client. And in real live old mutual dont care about me they just wanted my money. I did all the channels to complaint but with no one that want to hear my side. Old mutual is now the right party in this case, because my money is in there pokkets. This is going to be the first Christmas in 18 years me and my wife will be sitting in a room with nothing special to eat. This is a call to all people that plan to retire. Please please stay away from OLD MUTUAL. The dont care about anyone they only want commission on you money and they want your money in their hands. They get richer and we get poorer. And if you retire please make sure you do your home work on retirement money and investments, and make sure if you give your money to a investor that you are going to be able to live with the money you will receive every month. Do your home work get second opinions, because there is no one you can trust. The adibsor at old mutual said to me she will make sure i get the best and she will help me. Yes she help me in to the cutters, now i am the one sitting in terrible conditions, and just because i did not understand the whole storie from old mutual. And now they dont care, the damage is done, and old mutual is happy. All because i sign a contract i did not understand. People make sure when you retire you sit back and plan and work through your stress of not receiving a salary and benefits any more. Work through the emotions of not having a work to go to every day. Talk to someone who realy care about your emotional state before making any big decisions, that was also my mistake. I did not work through the emotional stress of leaving work and all that is going with that. I was so stressed because of all this retirement stuff, i did not think clearly. And that was a huge huge mistake, i worked for many years and now i got nothing. Old mutual have it all. And talk to your pension fund people, you can call them and they will assist you, i did not no i can talk to them directly. Please guys the world love money and if they can mislead you, they will just to get hold of you money.This year will be the firts Christmas in 18 years the we cant have somthing nice for Christmas. Today is the 7th December and still old mutual refuse to give my money back. I dont understand why they cant terminate the contract. This is not there money, i had to work for it, i think this is a case were old mutual can sit and say, lets give back the money to these people and make there live better. But with old mutual it is just about the money, not about the clients. From the top and up all are benefit from this money, the are making more money for there pockets. And keep my pocket empty. Maby this is how it works in SA take from the poor to get richer, and i never thought old mutual is such a company. My mother is 79 years old, and through the grace of God she could rent the apartment that me and my wife stayed in for 18years back, and now me and my wife is back in a house again after we had the worst months in a one room. And that broke me and my wife and we are now sicker then ever before. And all thanks to a company OLD MUTUAL that dont care. I just want to say to the big guy in charge of OLD MUTUAL you will get your day. And to all the Advisors for OLD MUTUAL the mislead and had tricks and did not care enough, to you i want to say. God does not sleep for every person you had misled, and did not make sure he or she fully understand, all the tears all the harts broken by old mutual advisors, YOUR DAY WILL COME.Me and my wife have no money because of old mutual. Do your self a favor go sit at a government hospital and go see what is going on. It is a nightmare to go and see a dr. And if you have to get admitted, there is no hot water to bath no food and the staff dont care about you if you get better or die, not there problem. I just want to wish Old mutuals employees a very happy Christmas. I hope all the familys have a nice Christmas meal today and enjoy there day fil with laughter. We there clients that must get our montly income form old mutual, dont have that privilege, because old mutual dont consider that it is Christmas, and left us without money. August 2022 to Feb 2023, this how long i am struggling with OLD MUTUAL. December 2022 we had a appointment with the a manger at Carletonville office about my case with old mutual. So yes he said all the right things, just to keep us quiet for December, so he can enjoy his Christmas. And we did not have a Christmas at all. Nothing to eat nothing to give, because old mutual paid the 3900r ons the 29December2022.so yes old mutual employees jad a nice Christmas, and me and my wife was just left with nothing.Januari we went and tolled the manger i want my money, and he said he will start the proses. But evertime me and my wife go to carletonville office, the staff is rude, and look at us if we are begging, but my money is there. Every time i go and see the manger he just said i am busy with your case. But he do not contact me, if i whats up him, he dont awnser my whats up. Today 21 Feb. I went to the office again but the staff very rude said he is not there. So yes this is how OLD MUTUAL treads you when they got your money, on n a way that was just so unfair. And me and my wife are living in terrible need. I must pawn my stuff, i had left after selling most of it last year to eat and have meds. We are so so sick of this case, a human works to go forward in live and make his life better, i did work and i did make my life better. But when i retired, i did not understand all the stuff and all the paperwork. And now i am back were i stared before i started to work 18years back, with nothing 🤬😠😭😭😭😭😭😭so how is that, old mutual is noy looking out for people, they are just looking out for there own pockets. And they dont care if you understand or not, in fact old mutual like people who are not very clever. Repley to old mutual just now. Al the steps was made last year all the departments. To the FIAS and nothing nobody is willing to help. The manager at Carletonville Old Mutual did his sweet talk also. This case was send to the FIAS, and i did receive a email it is now send to the tribunal, what is going on this is send from this dep. To that. Dep. And nobody even bother to talk to use we must find some one that can send emails in English to help us. We just want our money back we did not ask for this to happened. I DID NOT UNDERSTAND THE RETIREMENT STUFF THE ADVISOR WAS TALKING ABOUT. I DID NOT UNDERSTAND THE PAPER SHE GAVE ME TO SIGN. I DID NOT UNDERSTAND THE CONTRACT SHE GAVE ME. THE 26 OF JULY, 2022 WHEN THE ADVISOR CAME TO MY HOUSE AND EPLAIN TO MY WIFE, THAT DAY SHE EXPLAINED ON A LEVEL ME AND MY WIFE COULD UNDERSTAND. And that day our lives was terribly changed. We were devastated. My money i worked for for all those years are gone. And i will get just 3900 rand for the rest of my live. And i must die, for my wife to get my money. And if my wife passed before me. Then not me or my wife had nothing from my retirement money nothing, I am saying this now for the thousands time, IF I DID UNDERSTAND THIS PLAN, I WOULD NEVER NEVER EVER GAVE MY MONEY TO OLD MUTUAL NEVER. Now in this SA i must make a living with R3900. per month, how do i do that how😡😡??? I lost every thing i did worked for, all the stuff i bought for my house, we had to sell from last year, so how am i better of now. Old mutual dont care about us now we are suffering and suffering after you had a live build for your self over the years, and it took just one advisor, that was looking out for her self, and i lost everything. Why why why must i suffer like this. We are sick me and my wife. We always had our meds in the past. Now we must go sit at a goverment hospital for 5 to 6 hours just to get meds if they got meds to give. So i will go on as long as it takes to tell the world about my story, and to help others not to make the some mistake to trust some one, that dont care for your well-being. It is all about the money for old mutual. They are not to be trusted with your future. I am struggling to get up in the morning and to see my wife in sorrow and for what. Today 1March 2023 since 2022 Jan. We were confused, not sure about the future. We had a lot of stress, couping with the retirement setup, not have n work to go to.

Not have a medical aid no more.
Not no if we can afford our rental home.
All the stuff of retirement, money, i did not understand how it works. That is way i was under the impression, the advisor at Old Mutual will do the best for me, help me to do the right thing, I was so so wrong to trust her. She did not counsel me about what was best for me and my wife. And did not even care for our future. Uneducated people, and i am talking about my self, their are no place in this world for us. And these companies is clever, they see this is a uneducated guy. So Yes for them, it is all all about the money and the commissions. Some one told me i must find a job to full my pension up. Oky i am 59years old, Dibetic, high blood pressure, and a heart condition. I did try to find a job, but they said to me, uncle you are to sick, they are not willing to take the risk of hiring me. So yes were in this SA were young people cant find a job, how will i get one. And i did not want to retired, because of high risk for covid, the Specialist recommend, i must be bourd for work. But my employer told me, there is no money for that, they cant do it. The said to me to take retirement. So yes this is all so stressfull for me and my wife. And the fact i went to Old Mutual to help. Now we are in despair, we are suffering we are living backwards, this case is taking so long, i dont understand that, my money was taken in a few days by Old Mutual now it is fighting all the way to get it back. And we must just sit and wait. But while we wait we must eat and stay and must have meds and must have electricity all these things with R3900 a month. So yes we are in a bad shape over this that i did not understand nothing from. On the 27th Feb. Old Mutual reply here the FIAS send my case to the Tribunal, so now we wait to hear from them, some one told me, Old Mutual will not talk to me now. That is so bad because when they took my money they had a lot to say. Please people educate yourself with your retirement funds and do your research, dont dont trust eny company, get a second opinion, make sure. Just like me i did work hard for that money, and now i cant spend one sent, if i die maybe my wife wil get somthing thing out. That is so unfair

Old mutual just rep**** to my story about my money. The are not going to reply anymore on social media, and on Hello peter. Old mutual said, their decision is final, i will not get my money back. They are keeping it. And they dont care at all about my needs, and what is going to happen to me and my wife in the future. And they dont even do effort to talk to me about, my contact i dont understand till now. Not even a phone call to try to help me by sending a honest advisor to me, to help me understand. Nothing, and this is the company that have my money. So yes this is it is, old mutual does not care at all. PLEASE PLEASE DONT GO TO OLD MUTUAL WITH YOUR RETIREMENT MONEY. DO YOUR HOME WORK. I am waiting 2 weeks for old mutual offices in Carletonville to phone me. Old mutual dont want to give back my money they got from me on a misunderstanding. So yes now they dont wat to talk to me. When i go to carletonville office, they are always in a meeting or out to see a client. And this, is how they work operating with me when i wanted to invest my money in 2021.always the advisor were in a hurry, she was always late. Or in a meeting, and not avaliable. Everything must be done quick quick. That was the problem from the start. That is way up until today i dont understand what i sign for.

People please do your home work dont trust an advisor that are so quick quick. If they dont make time for you move on. And make sure you do understand what is in a contract you signed.

Today is 7th August, i send an email to customer complaints department from old mutual on 7th July 2023.until today nothing, no one phone or email me back. This is how old mutual treats their clients after they got my money. And still we do not UNDERSTAND, the contract. I did not understand the declaration form i was signed. And the contract is in al business language, so i want a advisor, that are afrikaans and is willing to help me understand what did i sign. No one seems to understand, that i did not understand the whole proses. From complaints department throughout to Tribunal. And now a month after i went to complaints dept. Still nothing. If i go to old mutual offices in carletonville no person there wants to help me, not even the branch manager. So i ask you what must i do, for some help with my contract i dont understand. My money was good enough, but now i am unhappy en lost every thing, old mutual dont want to talk to me. Old mutual is mad because of me taking all the steps to help get my money back. And the advisor part in this all, is right, she did her job. According to all the dept. She did everthing according to old mutuals book.

Good for you old mutual. The guy that phone in afrikaans. I told him i need to speak to an advisor, in afrikaans, face to face. You cant expect a client of old mutual to speak over a phone. I need a advisor to come and speak to me in person. This is going on for a whole year now. When will i get the attention of old mutual, that i am not a happy chappy client. It has been more then a month, we are waiting for a old mutual advisor to phone us and make an appointment to game and see us. We want old mutual to came an explain a contract we dont understand.
