Old mutual doesn't want to pay my provident fund

I resigned from the company I was working for and submitted my documents for my provident fund payout in February and to date I still haven't received it and everytime I enquire I am told that they only received my documents in April and other stories... I don't know how that is possible coz as I said I submitted in February. I am not employed and struggling while they are keeping my money that I have worked hard for all these years, I really don't understand what the hold up is. I want my money before the end of this week. I am tired of being patient. It's my money after all.
