Old Mutual doesn't care

My grandfather was working for Koelkamer which changed to Renown and it has again changed to Spartan. He retired and was getting pension income monthly until he passed-on on 25 May 2016. He was getting a monthly pension of about R616.45 from Tiger Brands Defined Benefit Fund called PenCare, administered by Old Mutual. Below are his details are Kolonkolo Steffans Jolfafa ID: *** 08 5. He is survived by one child (daughter - Nikiwe Mirriam Khashane). I would like to know what's gonna happen to his remaining pension? What should my mother do to claim any remaining monies due to him or his beneficiaries? We have been to Spartan in Welkom and spoke to Felicia, and we have spoken to Old Mutual in Cape Town ***, and we are not winning. We are told this is confidentail information and it cannot be given to us, yet he has no other family but us.
