Old Mutual, do you know about POPIA?

Would just like to thank you for your pathetic service.

When we asked for our capital gains certificate, you forwarded it to the wrong person, someone living on an entirely different continent. Thank goodness there was no banking information shared in the email trail, but some stranger now knows just how much 'life savings' we have. In the wrong hands this could have gone horribly wrong. How stupid can someone be?

The certificate, that was EVENTUALLY forwarded by a kind stranger, is not even a formal document and is someone's Excell spreadsheet that has been put into pdf.

One just expects more from a financial institution, let alone an institution that is supposed to have the history as that of Old Mutual.

We have asked to be contacted again, but this has never happened.

Should I bring up POPIA? DO YOU KNOW ABOUT IT?
