Old Mutual canceled my policy by mistake, and I had a big struggle to have it sorted out. I spoke to different people at the call centre, but nobody came back to me as they promised to. I even visited the Silverton office but had no joy. A lot of times, the phones there are not even answered. It is only when I got into contact with Belinda Hunt, the Complaints Assessor, that things started to come together. She handled the querie in a professional manner and kept me updated. My policy has finally been reinstated. I would certainly recommend Belinda to anyone struggling to sort out policy issues.
