Old mutual Bad service ever

I have a life cover with old mutual, took it last year, in December 2020 I got a letter to say I have not paid in October , I was shocked because the debit went off , I then went to branch to ask I was told green light operates during the week, I was given a number to call , no answer from the number given, I call the lady who helped , no assistance, I escalated to her senior who then escalated to he senior, I had to keep on asking what is the update, to my horror I got a call on the 26, January 2021 to be told my insurance has lapse, because I va not paid , I have reverse the debit of which I never did , I was told I need to take it up with the bank because it was an error from the bank, Basically I donated my hard earned cash to them , I ask if I can do double payment , I was told no I must start all over again, old mutual is a **** , am very angry, I want my money back, if I reverse the debit why did they deduct in December!!!!!!
