Old mutual

Hi everyone, we as a family had a horrible experience with a life policy claim that they took from us every month .My mother was healthy for the last 6 years and never even had to go to the doctor or hospital. When we signed the contract they took blood and we told them everything we knew about my mothers health as requested by the old mutual employee . She asked for all medical problems that she had for the last 5 years and we answered truthfully . My mother went to see the doctor as they requested and the doctor passed my mothers health with more then 75 %. They then notified us that she was overweight and she needed to pay a R1000 extra which was agreed on . They took all the instalments every month for seven months and even took more instalments after she passed away . She passed away from sudden heart failure. We started with the claim as they then asked for the doctor reports for the last 5 years wich the doctor could only give from 2010 to 2015 because it was the only history they had . They then failed us and said we disclosed information from them because we didn't give them the information from 2010 to 2015 . Please note she was healthy .Please remember that if you take out a policy with them to tell them everything from birth , everytime you had a flu or bumped your toe . If you don't they wil not pay out and when they come to sell you the policy they don't tell you that . Worst of all is that my mother trusted old mutual.
